Hike to České Středohoří, around Lovosice

Howdy! Let’s go on the first hike of 2018. The spring is not here yet, but that doesn’t mean we have to wait.

We will meet at the main train station – Praha Hlavní nádraží, inside the buliding, by the bookstore at 8.30. We’re gonna take the train at 8.51 and with a stopover in Lovosice finally arrive in Litochovice n. Labem. From here we will start our hike through protected landscape area called České Středohoří.

If we have good weather, we will be given a few beautiful views over the Elbe and cliffs. The highest point we will reach is Lovoš (570 m a.s.l., so there is one small with the elevation of 300 m, The we go back down to Lovosice and take a train. I plan to come back to Prague around 6-7 p.m.

The mountains are not really high so I don’t think there will be any snow left, but it’s still sort of a fading winter so the ground is wet, thus good trekking shoes are recomended! Take some brunch with you, we may grab something to eat in Lovosice depending on the time and mood.
